Hi, I’m Ashley S.

In 2021, I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl—and along with her came one of the most overwhelming seasons of my life. Sleepless nights, a body I barely recognized, waves of anxiety, and a constant voice in my head telling me I wasn’t doing enough. Everyone said “it gets easier,” but no one handed me a guide for how to survive those raw, messy, exhausting early months.

I remember crying on the bathroom floor at 3 AM, wondering if I’d ever feel like myself again, even as I held the most precious little person in my arms. Slowly, step by step, I discovered small tools that helped—5-minute breathing exercises, grounding techniques to calm my spiraling thoughts, and gentle movements that made my body feel strong again. Most importantly, I learned how to let go of guilt and ask for support without shame.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside more than 200 mothers, sharing these same tools, stories, and survival strategies. Every single mom reminded me of one powerful truth: we don’t need to “bounce back,” we need to heal forward—with compassion, patience, and joy.

That’s why I created Strong Mama, Calm Mama—to put everything I’ve learned into one guide that any mother can lean on during her hardest days and most beautiful moments.
